Job Description
- Contributes and wherever needed leads programs for the site HSE team to deliver agreed HSE plans, in line with the country/area HSE strategy and objectives.
- Proactively identify ways to improve the effectiveness of HSE.
- Actively live MDLZ values in all dealings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Implementation of HSE strategy, roadmaps which supports the Mondelēz International global vision
- Implement plans and ensure time frames are adhered to at the Commercial location.
- Leads specific Commercial Mondelez HSE programs for the site and participates in learning/sharing opportunities across the Country/BU/AMEA/Global community. Part of Regional HSE work track/s to help Mondelez develop a world class HSE culture.
- Build and Lead a culture of “HSE as a Value” at Mondelez in Middle East, Pakistan & Africa
- Actively participate in or lead identified health, safety and environment Projects and programs as required
- Lead monthly HSE Meetings to drive involvement of employees in safety & environment related matters, share safe work practices, drive accountability and review both lagging and leading performance metrics.
- Take a proactive role in the removal of obstacles to success, escalation of issues or short comings in performance, accident investigation as well as compliance and regulatory issues
- Tracking, monitoring and reporting of progress to plans and performance indictors through sharing and networking with the HSE AMEA community to measure effectiveness of those plans.
- Ensure HSE incidents are reported and investigated within MDLZ guidelines and information is shared across the AMEA Region where applicable
Job Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience (2 of which in Managerial positions)
- Demonstrated planning and administrative skills
- Knowledge of regional legal requirements for health and safety
- Demonstrated coaching and development skill
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Proficient MS Office user
