Job Description
- Develop the tender & estimation quotations to meet the financial targets set each year for income and profit.
- Support projects with estimating services.
- Conversion of tender estimates to project budgets.
- Produce the Tender Department management reports and analysis.
- Coordinate the tender finalization process.
- Manage the tender deliverables process.
- Coordinate with the Technical, Planning and Commercial teams in the tender production.
- Implement the formal tender processes.
- Create and manage the estimating system resource database.
- Implement and manage the resource based estimating system.
- Coordinate with the electrical and HVAC estimator for relevant discipline estimation and qualification.
- Coordinate with the Engineering, Execution, QA/QC and Planning Departments for full necessary clarification and input related to the bid.
- Project, plan, schedule and provide input to the Planning Engineer for the preliminary project schedule.
- Raise FAQ's with suppliers and vendors including negotiation with suppliers.
- Pre-tender and post tender clarification with the client.
- Analysis of the actual costs of development of estimation techniques.
- Maintain and update the database of estimation norms.
Job Requirements
- BSc. in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- Maximum 2 years of experience in the same field.
- Excellent knowledge of English.
