Job Description
- Study the project documents (project specs., drawings, BOQ, etc.) for different mechanical systems i.e. HVAC, Plumbing and Fire.
- Create all kinds of CAD drawings.
- Create and store drawings electronically.
- Prepare variations of design.
- Develop detailed designs for mechanical systems.
- Resolve design problems.
- Review and analyze specifications.
- Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures.
- Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise.
- Prepare the material submittals and provide the material to take off for different mechanical systems.
- Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise for discussion and proper solve.
- Finalize technical queries and issues with the vendors, receive replies and ensure the results are fully implemented.
- Solve technical issues raised by the site due to conflict between drawings and reality work or due to material in compliance with drawings and isometrics.
- Prepare commercial quotations.
