Position Description:
- Manage Sales of Consumer Pc’s and Tablets in the Western region
- Achieving all sales targets including value, volume, new partner recruitment, option sales and development of new Channels
- • Managing relationships with major channels
- • Developing the business strategy and have end to end ownership and accountability for the complete ownership of the Sales Process
- • Putting in place processes and procedures to ensure that major Channel Partner accounts are handled in the most effective way
- • Leading a cultural shift from a short term ‘target driven’ culture, to one of long term proactive relationship building
- • Defines and Reviews Key Performance Indicators to ensure the achievement of Lenovo’s retail Business growth targets
- • Implements rigour and discipline around retail Business Partner management
- • Focuses on forecasting and pipeline-management
- • Analyzes complex/new situations, anticipates potential problems and future trends, and assesses opportunities impacts and risks.
- • Train, develop, manage and motivate the partner sales teams
Job Requirements
- Experienced from a lead role within sales-led environment Strong retail experience a must
- Understands the retail Partner’s business to effectively perform account management, with assistance as well as increasing share of wallet
- Develops relationship to promote understanding of the retail Partner’s goals and objectives
- Demonstrable track record of achieving business results as an individual contributor
- Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive retail sales strategy
- Develops relationship to promote understanding of the retail Partner’s goals and objectives
- Knowledge of products and technology in the IT industry
- Knowledge of organized retail as well as independent retail
- Highly motivated and willing to succeed
- Graduate / Post Graduate
- At least 8 - 10 years sales management experience within the technology hardware industry, with some exposure to high volume sales and proven track record of high tech.
- Fluency in Business English and Arabic(must)
- Proven track record of growing revenues, profitability, and market share in a high volume technology related company
- In-depth understanding of Channel management with multinational businesses
- Results oriented
- Depth and breadth of understanding of IT systems and IT industry players
- Experience of introducing operational vigour, from a process and control perspective, to a multi-functional, multi-disciplined sales team
- Exposure to self-management, team working and time management in a complex matrix environment
- Be Innovative with the ability to spot, develop and implement business opportunities
