Senior Graphic Designer - UAE

Job Summary/Responsibilities

To ensure the successful delivery of design projects for exhibitions, conferences, awards, and digital products in line with agreed KPI's.

• Delivery of design projects in line with business objectives set by Creative Director
• Adherence to timelines and budget requirements
• Designer KPI report
• Act as a motivated self-starter with the ability to problem solve both individually and as a part of a project team

Qualities needed for the role

Outline of key qualities:

LEADERSHIP

• Line manage 1 or more designers, working across a range of events and media products (exhibitions, digital, magazines, awards, conferences)
• Ensure adoption and optimisation of design solutions, identify training needs and ensure line reports are technically proficient and meet design standards
• Provide guidance, feedback and inspiration to line reports
• Work with line reports to ensure successful delivery of design projects in line with agreed KPI’s, event and divisional strategy
• Work with line reports to develop skills and competencies and ensure they have a clear development roadmap
• Mentor and support the Design team to ensure their skills remain up to date and that they are leveraging current tools and processes to support the Marketing Department and wider business

DESIGN SYSTEM MANAGEMENT

• Work with creative director to ensure design team has proficient tools and design software
• Implement and develop asset management library to ensure brand consistency and efficiency
