Job Description
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Create conference production deadlines and telesales timelines and ensure these are adhered to
- Devise concise conference strategies in line with each of the show needs taking into account target delegate numbers, relevant audience and associated conference revenue
- Determine speaker and conference production budgets and ensure these are adhere to
- Oversee the conference content – ensuring high quality speaker acquisition, with agendas being produced on time and to budget as per the production planning schedule
- Ensure long-term commercial sustainability and growth of the Industrial conference business model
- Develop a concise competitive landscape across all shows
- Work with department heads and EDs to develop year-round strategies that will increase the commerciality of the conferences and content we produce

- Delegate attendance and revenue
- Sponsorship revenue
- Timely delivery and quality of conference programmes
- Strategy development and delivery
KEY DIMENSIONS:
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Conference Production
- Work closely with Marketing leads to ensure quality of attendees to the conferences by reviewing data selection and ensuring quality data build for new conferences.
- Develop new conference ideas, formats and content through brainstorming sessions and feedback from the Energy & Utilities community
- Work with the EDs to feed into the overall show strategies
- Identify key opinion leaders/institutions and companies within each show who can participate in the advisory board(s)
- Develop conference production schedules that allow for realistic deadlines, delivering programmes to market in a timely fashion
- Ensure best in class, industry relevant conference programmes with credible speakers that will draw in delegates

MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Essential
- Demonstrate good team work with co-workers/peers
- Be flexibles when on occasions asked to perform tasks outside of the overall remit
- Willingness to travel
- Significant experience in conference production
- Speaks and writes clear and fluent English to both individuals and groups
- Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
