Job Description
The graphic designer job description includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, blogs, exhibitions and more.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
- Create these materials by using technology, including computer software programs.
- Adobe's Creative Suite—including Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design, and more
- Plans concept by studying information and materials.
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
- Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors.
- Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
- Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Job Requirements
- 3-4 years of Experience in both digital ( web – digital marketing) and Printed designs
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or equivalent experience
- Creativity, Flexibility and high Attention to detail
- Have the ability to communicate clearly and accurately
- Strong commitment to deadlines
- Strong command in Desktop publishing tools and graphic design software
