Job Description
- Establish a Planning & Projects Controls System/Manual including the following; (Purpose, Objectives, Organization Structure, Job Descriptions, Responsibilities and Scope of Work, Process Flow Charts, Work Plans, Policies & Procedures).
- Formulate the project master budget and the different budget allocations related to construction, design and supervision costs for the different project components. This data serves as the input for all the feasibility studies of the different project components.
- Prepare and update project cash flow.
- Develop, monitor and update the project master schedule.
- Prepare tender schedules.
- Develop construction phasing strategies.
- Prepare project reporting including monthly reports and management presentations.
- Liaison with all internal stakeholders concerning all planning strategies.
- Lead a team of planners, cost controllers to evaluate projects performance and report results and recommendations to management.
- Identify trends in cost and progress performance and recommend actions to resolve and correct where necessary.
- Construct total cost of ownership (TCO) models, while understanding the construction industry cost drivers.
Job Requirements
Academic
- Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Project Control Management or Project Management.
- Master’s in civil engineering is preferred.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Related management experience of Project Control.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent data presentation skills and ability to write clearly & concisely.
- Knowledge and experience of Design-for-Value concepts.
