Provide functional, performance, and end-to-end system testing services for products or packaged releases
Foster best practices in testing and bring latest thinking in QA/testing methodologies and tools
Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases
Synthesize and communicate opportunities from bug reports
Deliver applications that pass production readiness criteria every sprint
Ensure products rolled into production perform as specified and do not break
Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open source tools for multiple application platforms (web, mobile)
Work with deployment teams to ensure a smooth handoff of test planning and testing methodologies

5+ years of experience in software testing or a similar role
Degree in engineering, information technology, or any related field
Strong skills and experience in current and emerging manual and automatic testing technologies including functional, end-to-end and performance testing
Experience with testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, Git, Appium, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNg, Cucumber, CI/CD, pipelines, etc.
Knowledge of performance & security testing and Linux/Unix commands
Ability to drive efficiency and effectiveness throughout the testing process
Team collaboration and test planning skills
Sufficient business/banking knowledge to effectively drive application integration and end-to-end testing for each product
Preferable: Ability to drive test automation and standardization
Preferable: Experience in agile process management methodologies
