Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Complies with all the requirements of control of measuring and monitoring devices related to survey equipment
  • Study his project drawings to be familiar with them, interpret them and identifies critical issues
  • Find solution to common drawings dimensions conflicts
  • Make sketches as required and requested by his PM/PCM/SE.
  • Mastering his survey equipment and required survey calculations
  • Complete his assigned tasks as scheduled
  • Monitoring the application of the monitoring and measuring devices procedure on site and coordinating with the PM, PQM and PQM, Production team and Senior site surveyor regarding
  • Calibration status of his devices for follow-up any necessary action
  • Checking the last three important measurements taken with faulty equipment, using a calibrated device before the used equipment was found out of calibration.
  • Protect all survey tools and equipment under his custody.
  • Plan his works well ahead, organize them, and foresee problem with his responsible PE.
  • Works without continuous supervision or follow-up; be reliable.
  • Ready to work as per work schedule.
  • Communicative with his site Managing staff and site personnel

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5-10 years similar experience preferably in the construction field and familiar with LEICA Total Station.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
