Job Description
- Compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries to accounts Distributing expenditures, encumbrances, receipts, and receivables according to schedules
- Auditing contracts, orders, and vouchers, and preparing reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement
- Monitoring debt levels, ensuring compliance with debt covenants and paying debts and supplier invoices in a timely manner
- Collecting appropriate data and assisting in the preparation of federal, state, and local reports and tax returns
- Assisting in calculations and issuing financial analysis of the financial statements
- Assembling information for external auditors for the annual audit
- Recording cash receipts and making bank deposits
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is a must
- 1-3 years of experience as an accountant
