Job Description

  • Prepares daily procurement of parts and materials for Shiny White Center Prepares bidding documents, including notice and instruction to bidders, and specifications.
  • Analyzes quotations and make recommendations regarding awarding of contracts.
  • Confers with supplier representative to ensure full understanding of bid requirements and to keep familiar with new or revised products, price changes, or other information that could materially affect the purchasing of item
  • Receives and processes purchase orders Maintains log of all purchase orders Maintains spreadsheets to keep track of bond, maintenance repairs and renovation, and other special funds.
  • Trains personnel in National purchasing requirements Maintains approved list of vendors and items under contract

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting required
  • Minimum of two years experience in a purchasing/procurement, accounting, or related position requiring.
  • Knowledge of procedures for purchasing and invoicing supplies and equipment
  • Ability to work with numbers in an accurate and rapid manner
  • Knowledge of formal bid procedures
  • Ability to write clear bid specifications, test materials, and evaluations, and analyze vendor bids
  • Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills
  • Proficient in Word and Excel programs
  • Ability to deal effectively with vendor representatives
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
