Key Responsibilities
A System Expert with a deep understanding of the technical functionality of EcoStruxure Building Management
- Technical expertise in at least one of the following - EcoStruxure Building Operation, Security Expert, Lighting/Room Automation Systems.
- Technical expertise on transitioning legacy systems to EcoStruxure
- Technical expertise on Integration of third-party systems to EcoStruxure platform.
- Technical expertise in one or more specialist areas (e.g. HVAC, Security, Lighting, BMS, IT networking, Protocols, Programming, Enterprise Architectures, IT Security, Cybersecurity, IOT solutions, Transitions, Integration, etc)
- Create and apply innovative solutions by combining latest technologies with our products to deliver differentiation and tangible value to our business and our customers.
- Provide risk management, create risk and opportunity registers and GAP analysis.
- To provide the technical backup, presales support and product/solution demonstrations to our sales teams.
- Develop and validate the right design and specification working as consultants to support local Solution Architects
- Assist in the creation of technical notes, lessons learned, white papers prescription and specification documents
- Work closely and collaborate with the Engineering Centre of Excellence, Category Management, Product Support, Segment Solution Architects, EcoXpert Partners, Global account managers, country organisation, technical and sales.
- Promote and support the local region on uttilising software tools and assist on the development of application standards using scripting language to improve and drive Engineering efficiency and project delivery within the local region.
- Provide support and in some cases the deployment for Integrated and Enterprise level solutions (Merging IOT and OT) using our BMS platform implementing cause and effect between systems, database conversions, deployment of specialist graphics and web based solutions.
- Creates and applies Enterprise System integration architecture following guidelines and standards fully quantifying associated risks.
- Ability to design and apply security methodologies (e.g. Cybersecurity) to protect systems in order to assist with data confidentiality, integrity and availability.
- Provide the technical design, support engineering and deployment of be-spoke complex integrated solutions.
- Provide support and program plans, including required resources (time, personnel, facilities, and equipment) to ensure critical complex issues and corrective actions are identified and followed through to successful completion.
- Work with customers and stakeholders in a highly charged and complex environment.
- Required to be highly adaptable, mobile and able to multi-task several projects and support requests working in proactive and reactive mode as necessary.
- Understands codes and standards, governmental regulatory and industry standards applicable in their country.
Job Requirements
- Technical lead in System architect design and consulting
- At least 10 years experience in a specific domain (BMS, Security Lighting/Room Automation)
- At least 5 years experience in project execution / deployment.
- Experience in System Architect Methodology
- Deep understanding of the technical functionality of Building Management
- Software Programing (Script, FB)
- IT networking
- Communication Protocols (BACnet, LON, Modbus, OPC)
- Cloud Computing and Virtualisation
- Integration concepts and methodologies (OT to IOT)
- Secure architectures and Cybersecurity methods, processes and tools.
- Strong business acumen and experience of competitors systems.
- Demonstrate technical competence, personal development and desire for continual learning and improvement.
- Highly adaptable and able to multi-task several project activities and support requests
- working in proactive and reactive mode as necessary.
