Job Description

  • Help define appropriate methodology for market research projects, and coordinate review and selection of market research agencies / data sources consistent with procurement policies.
  • Coordinate review of all research materials (discussion guides and screener, surveys etc.) to ensure validity of research. Provide input as necessary to marketing and agencies in development of materials for testing.
  • Manage fielding to ensure proper execution. Attend field research as necessary to ensure quality and smooth execution, and develop direct knowledge of findings.
  • Integrate findings from additional data sources (including other primary research, secondary data, syndicated reports, competitive intelligence, etc.) in interpreting results to provide proper context for findings.
  • Provide brand planning assistance through contributing supporting analysis for major documents and presentations, and day to day ad hoc question support.
  • Help support and maintain efforts to communicate research results such as share point sites and summary / review presentations.
  • Collect data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentation.
  • Evaluating the performance of product or services sales, marketing communication activities.
  • Prepare results presentations to address specific audiences and applications and clearly communicate findings to all relevant stakeholders. Translate findings to actionable recommendations.
  • Comply with corporate, legal and regulatory requirements, and strictly adhere to relevant policies and SOPs.

Job Requirements

  • 2 -4 years within the custom Market Research industry with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in research agency.
  • Academic and practical experience with a wide array of new product, brand, advertising and customer satisfaction research methodologies.
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in business, mathematics, economics, engineering, chemistry, sciences.
  • Strong analytic skills with experience in statistical modeling, analysis, project management and managing multiple demands from multiple internal customers.
  • Experience effectively collaborating within a matrix environment and with colleagues across functions and geographies.
  • Results-oriented creative thinker who is viewed by different stakeholders as a collaborative business partner.
  • Demonstrates ability to maintain objectivity and a willingness to express a perspective. Upholds high standards of ethical and intellectual integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills with a well-developed ability to communicate efficiently and productively both verbally and in writing in English and Arabic (Chinese or Czech speakers will have a special appreciation).
  • Relevant market experience in specialty markets and global markets.
  • Knowledge and experience with industrial and economic data sources.
  • Prefer Chinese language background .
