Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Copywriting:

  • Come up with content for all communication material including and not limited to; performance marketing campaigns, in-app notifications, social media content, while maintaining ensuring OLX tone of voice is maintained and safe-guarded
  • Aware and following local, regional and international trends to capitalize on for OLX campaigns
  • Work alongside our graphic design team to generate content that is both eye catching and engaging
  • Working together with different teams to come up with content aligned with OLX brand guidelines and ensuring the tone of voice is maintained across all material

Social Media:

  • Strategize, manage and schedule OLXs' social media campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Analyse the performance of all posts to optimize and enhance the performance of the posts/campaigns based on their objectives
  • Moderate social media pages and respond to users' requests and feedback
  • Reporting any intriguing and new insights and simultaneously raising any flags regarding recurring perceptions and concerns

Marcom:

  • Work on the annual Marcom plan in terms of TV & digital campaigns, OLX events, press conferences, activations, sponsorships and CSR
  • Work on and assist with all marcom activities including and not limited to; OLX events, sponsorship events, on-ground activations, TV & Digital campaigns and CSR
  • Scout suppliers and negotiate, compare and bargain to get the best deals for OLX
  • Liaise and work with partner agencies and suppliers to ensure that their deliverables meet the OLX standards

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience in creating compelling editorial content concepts in a transmedia setting.
  • Fluency, strong experience and skills in English & Arabic copywriting and long-form writing is a must
  • Understand the country's culture, trends and humour
  • Aware of local, regional and international social media trends
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Quick, witty and a linguistically creative
