Job Description
- Analyze a company’s current technology infrastructure to be aligned with the business’ expansion plans.
- Lead the selection, implementation & functionality of system and all software needs.
- Provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives.
- Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner.
- Define and implement IT action plans, policies, and procedures of the department.
- (System) Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Provide recommendations to update current MIS to improve reporting efficiency and consistency.
- Responsible for monitoring projects progress against the scheduled timeline
- Direct the planning and implementation process of enterprise IT systems to improve cost optimization, efficiency, service quality, and business development.
- Determines long-term needs and pursues purchases and contracts that will aid in accomplishing business objectives. (RFID – Traffic Counter – CCTV – Facilitation of customer payment process)
- Estimate department expenses and determine the annual budget, according to business objectives of the organization and its expansion plans, while achieving it.

Profile Requirements:
- Critical Thinking Skills: MIS Managers call upon their critical thinking skills when troubleshooting issues with software, hardware, networks and databases. They also use their critical thinking skills when formulating update schedules.
- Systems Analysis Skills: MIS Managers use their systems analysis skills to understand how the parts of a given information system affects the functionality of the whole. This is necessary to create successful fixes for critical IT issues.
- Complex Problem Solving Skills: Not every IT problem is a routine fix. MIS Managers call upon their complex problem solving skills to work through issues by which they are stumped.
- Management Skills: MIS Managers use their management skills in everything they do. This involves knowing which tasks to delegate, and to whom they should be delegated. It also involves diffusing inter-employee conflict and addressing employee performance issues in a way that inspires improvement.
- Communication Skills: In order for MIS Managers to be effective Managers, they have to have good communication skills. They must be able to build relationships with employees in order to keep them inspired and productive.
Profile Education requirements:
- The ideal candidates would have studied Information Technology or Computer Science at the Bachelor’s level.
- Preferable extras: Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Information Technology.
- Any other educational certificates is a plus.
