Job Description
- Will be support in the development and implementation of the student recruitment strategy.
- Will provide advice and guidance on undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment issues.
- You will promote and raise awareness of the Science and Engineering programs at USTzc with key internal and external interest groups by organizing on-campus or off-campus students’ recruitment events.
- Represents the University targeted students; visits middle schools, high schools, and colleges; speaks to groups and individual students; meets with school counselors, administrators and/or other groups to promote USTzc.
- Systematically gather market and competitor intelligence and conduct market research.
- Serves independently as the point person for internal coordination of university student recruitment and enrollment management goals utilizing specific knowledge gained of admissions, registration criteria and financial aid and/or scholarship information and deadlines.
- Provides career and academic counseling, planning, and advising to potential students utilizing specific knowledge gained of the university, educational programs and degrees.
- Independently develops and maintains partnerships between the university, local school systems, alumni networks, faculty, community partners, and other identified groups.
- Participates in and/or organizes and implements all aspects of large, multi-departmental special events utilizing presentation and promotional materials, maintaining budgetary and operational controls, coordination skills with multiple entities and representing the university at local, statewide and national events.
- Prepares reports and proposals regarding recruitment and outreach activities, and responds to inquiries from students and minority agencies.
- Guides and oversees the work of lower graded staff and/or student interns when engaged in directly related support activities; may participate in employee training and evaluative sessions.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Plan and organize events with attention to financial and time constraints
- Book venues and schedule speakers
- Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations, food, drinks etc.)
- Track the overall even expenses regularly
- Do event budget planning and stay within the budget
- Carefully oversee event happenings
- Offer solutions to resolve problems in a timely manner
- Evaluate event’s success and submit reports
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in University.
- Must own a car.
- B/A in Arts.
