Job Description
- Follow-up effectively of the communication department’s plan aimed at promoting knowledge and acceptance of the ERC in addition to Build and maintain effective internal communications across all offices.
- Design and follow-up the monthly and the annual agenda of ERC activities
- Responding to media requests in an effective and timely manner and successfully maintaining, strengthening and expansion of the network of contacts with Media. Maintain long-term relations with Journalists and producers in different journals and TV channels and communicate with them for covering ERC news.
- Monitor ERC visibility on the different media channels.
- Facilitate the production of digital materials such as publications, newsletters, audio visual materials, website contents.
- Work with the team on any potential partnership with other organizations
- Prepare monthly and annual reports for Media monitoring and for the work of the department.
- Coordinate effectively the joint work with partners and donor communication teams
- Assist the Communications team with any other duties as may be assigned.
Job Requirements
- At least a bachelor’s degree in Mass Comm.
- At least 3 years of professional work experience in designing and executing communication & media activities.
- Knowledge of and experience with media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
- Ability to communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources.
- Experience of working with local NGOs, INGOs and governmental bodies would be an advantage
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
