Job Description

The Project Sales Executive will be responsible to -

  • Generate enquiries, follow-up and book orders for retail and projects as per the target set by the division.
  • The accurate completion of monthly management reports covering all activities.
  • Following up on current leads, opportunities and key accounts.
  • Manage clients effectively and create good prospects.
  • Create & update reports for cross specification among various sales divisions.
  • Identify qualified prospects and leads.

Sales Target:

  • Achieve sales / gross margin targets set by the management on monthly, quarterly and annual basis by activities mentioned below.
  • Generating sales enquires on monthly basis so as to achieve order booking strike rate of 15-20% of enquiry quoted every month based on assigned sales target.
  • Generate business leads for upcoming projects by regular visits on daily basis to key developer/consultant & MEP contractors.

Customer Relation / Networking:

  • Maintain good rapport with key clients, leading consultants and MEP contractors. Research market in terms of current jobs in hand, current projects under design, current projects on tender stage.
  • Interact and engage with customers for information / feedback related to competitor’s pricing / products proposed.
  • Understand and analyze the customer needs.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge:
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of sanitary ware products, market intelligence, industry trends and competition in the assigned territory.
  • The Project Sales Executive will report to the Sales Manager, however, channels exists for direct communication with the General Manager and other member from the senior leadership team at weekly meetings or as and when required.
  • To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management.
  • Masters in Business Administration is an asset. Minimum of 5+ years proven progressive business development, sales, experience in the in the sanitary wares / building products industry (min 2-3 years in Abu Dhabi) with full understanding and awareness of the regions construction industry.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated person who can efficiently and effectively manage a wide range of tasks and objectives.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in order to deliver persuasive and effective presentations, sales pitches, networking, negotiations, internal communications and relationship management.
  • Should have won business through developing client relationships centered on solutions that deliver business excellence to both client and contractor. Strong track record in a service industry operating at management level, where client relationships are essential. Has good networks within the sanitary wares / building products / construction materials industry including competitors, clients and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at levels. Budget and costing skills.
  • Ability to identify the training needs of team members, coach and guide team for better employee engagement.
  • Ability to understand and work with commercial requirements like plan cost, budgets limits, profit and loss. Willing to continuously upgrade on current industry standards, best practices.
  • The Project Sales Executive will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Sound communication and articulation skills.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace. Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization. It is essential the incumbent should have excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment.
  • Have the ability to look at situations from several points of view.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • Excellent problem analytical skills and problem simulation.
  • Should have a high comfort level working in a diverse environment.

  • Strong verbal and writing skills, with regards to contractual communication.
  • People management skills & problem solving skills. Excellent managerial & administrative skills however at the same time hands on with day to day business operations.
  • Detail oriented and good reporting skills. Establish clear lines of communication both internally & externally. Strong commercial expertise in driving business results.
