Job Description
- Assists PM and PCM in the preparation and evaluation of monthly interim certificates, company’s; subcontractors’, and suppliers’.
- Measuring quantities related to approved drawings, documents and comparing with contracts’
- Assists PM and PCM in preparing Monthly Progress-Costs Reports.
- Collects information from Production Department and storekeeper for performing accurate cost and progress reports.
- Assists PM and PCM in evaluating and agreeing contract variation orders.
- Assists PM and PCM in contractual matters.
- Prepares material schedule in coordination with the Planning engineer, the PM and the PCM to be detailed and compatible with the contractual works schedule.
- Controls and verifies all purchase orders, compare with invoices of received and accepted materials in coordination with PQM, purchaser, and Storekeeper.
- Controls and verifies time keeper work and records as par HO requirements
- Measuring repair costs for defective/repeated/replaced/unused etc… works or materials in coordination with PQM.
- May be requested to perform additional tasks as required by PM or PCM or HO.
Job Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- Civil Engineering with a minimum of 6 years experience in Quantity Surveying for Buildings with large contracting companies.
- Must have excellent knowledge in AutoCAD
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
