Job Description

  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements, monthly cash management reports, balance sheet reconciliations and various detailed analysis reports required by laws, regulations and top management team.
  • Develop, prepare and monitor the annual budget with the assistance of the accounting staff and other concerned departments.
  • Prepare various management team presentations about the financial status of the company and measures taken to improve it.
  • Supervise the accounting department’s daily activity and all its functions including accounts payable, accounts receivables, bank transactions, payroll, general journal entries and financial reporting.
  • Recruit staff members, oversee training programs and implement continuous development for the team.
  • Evaluate and assess the performance of the accounting staff to ensure all subordinate duties are completed effectively and efficiently.
  • Initiate and/or maintain professional banking relationships.
  • Responsible of the company’s cash management including internal and external transfers and collection and manage banking facilities including letters of credit.
  • Work closely with the external auditors, provide all requested details and review their reports.
  • Ensure timely payment of the company’s liabilities including taxes.
  • Develop and monitor overall company’s financial policies and procedures.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings and training
  • Meet accounting department annual objectives and KPIs.

Job Requirements

  • CMA Certificate is a plus.
  • Good command of English language.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask & quality of deliverables.

  • Compliance and high attention to detail.
  • Past experience in a commercial/importing company is preferable.
