Job Description
Job Scope/Purpose:
- Oversees and responsible for the packing team, and the overall packing process
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in packing or wrapping products and materials to protect them from damage during storage or shipment
- Studies production orders and the customized packing instructions for events and individual then communicate it to the team, and also to coordinate department’s activities with other departments
- Inspects products prior to packing/wrapping and places rejected products aside or returns them to production departments
- Observes packing/wrapping operations to verify conformance to specifications
- Trains workers in packing/wrapping procedures
- Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging
- Keep track of packing material inventory
- Weighs or measures materials/products to ensure conformance to specifications
- Identifies and marks materials, products, and samples, following instructions
- Records customer note, production and operational information and data on specified forms
- Modifies materials and products during manufacturing process to meet requirements
- Moves controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment
- Feeds materials into machines and equipment to process and manufacture products.
- Loads materials and products into machines and equipment, using hand tools and moving devices
