Job Description

About the Role

Business Development Executive will be primarily responsible for maximizing DC Aviation’s revenue through the selling of charter aircraft to a broad range of VIP clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generating revenue for the company,
  • Generating new business and leads
  • Building up and managing own key accounts
  • Working as part of a team to reach individual and team targets, supporting colleagues
  • Liaising with other departments e.g. Operations, Accounting, Aircraft Management, Crewing, Maintenance
  • Greeting clients where possible when flying through Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport
  • To provide excellent customer service
  • To communicate well and display good interpersonal skills
  • To make decisions, take initiative and work methodically
  • To be results orientated
  • To work well in a team; consult and share information with colleagues
  • To display analytical skills and strong commercial awareness
  • To work with all levels of Management and Supervisors internally and Externally
  • To promote DC Aviation’s reputation and brand

Ground Support Services (Ground Handling, Hangar parking)

  • Acquisition
  • Tendering
  • Client Management

Aircraft Charter – support function when required

  • Responding to inbound telephone calls and assessing client requirements
  • Managing all aspects of charter flights from initial sale to scheduling to post flight follow up
  • Assisting in the management of key charter aircraft
  • Providing out of hours telephone cover from home during evening and weekends-working on a rotational basis as part of the team.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

  • 3 years aviation experience in a commercial sales environment
  • Experience of aircraft brokering and business development
  • VIP commercial jet knowledge and good knowledge of business aircraft
  • Key Account Management and Operations experience
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Excellent level of spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of airports
  • Good understanding of aircraft performance essential
  • Educated to degree level
  • Valid unrestricted UAE driver’s license essential

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure

  • Good communications and interpersonal skills
