Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

  • The Sales Consultant is primarily responsible for achieving/exceeding the targeted sales of Lexus vehicles while maintaining/ improving the customer journey

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Specify the output required from the job. Identify not more than 7 Key Accountabilities & their performance indicators. NB-Focus on outcomes not tasks
  • Achieve/Exceed sales target while maximizing the profitability of the branch by focusing on both the net sales and gross margin earnings. This includes utilizing discounts as a tool to close deals.
  • Ensure that the Lexus standards are driven and it meets customer’s expectation
  • Attend all daily sales meetings and modular training sessions that introduces new products and makes sure the showroom manager is informed if additional training is required.
  • Keep abreast on competitor activities and discuss the data with the showroom manger to facilitate the necessary strategic planning by the management.
  • Document and maintain all records pertaining to the area of activity on Fast Track for future reference and for use by Management

JOB CONTEXT: DEFINE ORGANIZATIONAL POLICY AND OTHER FACTORS THAT HAVE A CRITICAL IMPACT ON THE JOB

  • Maintaining high volume of sales at profitable margins under severe competition
  • People working within the automotive retail industry often have to work extended hours, evenings and weekends to achieve their goals

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of Sales process, F&I, structure, systems and methodology
  • High School Diploma is a must; bachelor’s degree desired

Minimum Experience:

  • Previous Auto Sales experience is highly desired

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Quantitative and analytical skills and PC proficiency
  • Languages: Fluent English, Arabic an Advantage
