Business Development Specialist – Digitalization, Dubai, UAE

Your responsibilities

• Digitization: Refining and drive UAE Business Line Motors & Generator’s Digital roadmap.
• Engaging with end-users & consultants to influence specification/ tender documents to include digital solutions or cloud connectivity - ‘Digital Ready Motor’ as the new industry standard.
• Coordinating and implementing for ABB Ability Power Train with Local Business Line Drives and partnerships with OEMs, government entities, industry lobby groups, innovation labs, etc to position MOMG digital offerings.
• Supporting MOMG authorized value providers to become Digital value providers and supporting service team to expand its trusted partnerships for condition monitoring of rotating machines.
• Developing innovative business model with authorized workshop partner to support long term service agreements.
• Strategic Sourcing: Coordinating with Industry Segment Manager, support local project-specific approved vendor list roadmap and define long term segmentation strategy.
• Driving project-specific acceptance of LCC factories with consultants and OEMs and marketing activities and promotion of LCC factories. Furnish factories with market and competitor intelligence.
• Obtaining market intelligence for price levels, correct configuration, competitor offering for selected customers/ industries such as HVAC OEMs, Fire-fighting pumps, smoke ventilation & district cooling.
• Preparing customized marketing material and co-ordinate customer events, seminars, roadshows, product launches, etc.
