Job Description

  • The Global Transfer Pricing Services practice in Deloitte is dedicated to providing clients with effective transfer pricing advice worldwide. Members of the highly specialized Transfer Pricing group work to help develop transfer pricing strategies, audit defense, and documentation to cover the spectrum of transfer pricing issues facing their clients.
  • They offer comprehensive economic advisory and tax services to multinational companies by reviewing and formulating transfer pricing policies. Clients are provided both with strategic transfer pricing planning aligned with evolving business strategies and assistance in complying with diverse requirements imposed under transfer pricing regimes.
  • Deloitte Egypt has recently chosen to house a specialized transfer pricing team. The team will be working under a specialized transfer pricing manager and an international tax director. The team will be based in Egypt but will be guided and trained from time to time by members of the Global Deloitte transfer pricing services network.

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Preparing information and document requests;
  • Preparing for functional analysis interviews by learning about the clients business, industry and recent news.
  • Overseeing TP juniors in functional analysis interviews ensuring accurate note taking and organization of information;
  • Selection and application of TP methods and PLIs to specific transactions under guidance of TP manager;
  • Drafting functional and economic analysis segments of the report;
  • Overseeing TP juniors in drafting company profiles and industry analyses sections of a report.
  • Reviewing and taking responsibility for the work of TP juniors on segments of documents/memos;
  • Actively participating in training TP Juniors.
  • Preparing meeting agendas and discussion outlines.
  • Ensuring all required administrative documentation is completed and filed in the work papers.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics / (Minor: Statistics, International Business or Accounting)
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Professional qualification in progress (CPA, ACCA, ESAA)
  • High proficiency level of the English Language
  • Very good communication skills
  • Very good analytical, problem solving skills
  • Report Writing Skills
  • Business Research Skills
