Casita are the one of the worlds largest marketplaces for private student accommodation, with access to over 250,000 rooms across the UK, Australia, Europe, North America and the UAE.
Casita help students from all over the world find their perfect accommodation through our online portal. Casita have dedicated teams positioned globally in key recruitment markets and are now looking at expanding their presence in to the Middle East & North Africa.
We are looking for a World Class Front-End Developer to join our Technology Team and make a difference.
If you think you are creative and passionate about making things look good and love sharing ideas and likes to be part of a collaborative team within a growing international team, then this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a good standard of coding and adhere to the same conventions as the rest of the team.
- Leave code better than you found it (and fully commented)
- Test your code, be it client or server-side.
Job Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of CSS and HTML
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript & Frameworks
- Expert with responsive web designs
- Experience with AngularJS / AngularJS 2
- Experience with RESTful API
- Familiarity with Requirejs
- Familiarity with task runners like Grunt or Gulp
- Experience of using version control (GitHub)
- Excellent English language command is a MUST
- Good Communication Skills, Soft skills and Sending Formal Messages
- Must be able to stay on top of advancing Internet and computer technology and its effects on the business environment
- Be willing to work in a research capacity – to find and test and critically review open-source frameworks and technologies.
- Ability to perform effectively to tight deadlines, work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude to problem-solving and an understanding of the role of development in a creative environment.
- Open, honest and direct, is comfortable in giving and receiving constructive feedback.
