Job Description

  • Therapy area needed: Respiratory Therapy area specialist, CVS, Renal and metabolism Therapy area specialist, CNS Therapy area specialist Immunology and rare disease Therapy area specialist, Specialty and oncology Therapy area specialist, Gynecology and dermatology Therapy area specialist.
  • Reporting to Manager, The Therapy area specialist will be responsible for contacting and engaging Vezeeta E- pharmacy patients to act as a point of contact and a support healthcare provider. The disease Therapy area specialist helps retain current patients by following up in person rather than system follow-ups providing maximum satisfaction as well as updating patients with investigated disease-related inquiries.

Primary Responsibilities

  • The disease Therapy area specialist works closely with the team to provide patient satisfaction in resolving clinical inquiries
  • Tracking inquiries and documents clinical inquiries and action taken as well as notifying the customers with the investigating results
  • Makes outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed to resolve inquiries
  • Reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business correspondence, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Resolves routine, general questions and problems submitted by customers, physician offices and patients following established guidelines and standard SOPs, product monographs and procedures. Utilizes all available information to choose the best solution and resolve customer concerns. Directs complex questions and problems to more senior staff level.
  • Introducing additive pharmacy programs according to each patient profile example smoking cession, courtesy calls, counsellors, Vaccination schedules, referring to doctors if necessary and ability to forward calls to specialists of each of the services
  • Retaining current patients by following up in person rather than system follow ups.
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and validating information provided by patients and healthcare providers to facilitate the initiation of services;
  • Receiving, documenting, and reporting Adverse Events as per organizational and case management processes as a drug safety coordinator to ensure documentation to products’ company
  • speaking to patients who receive Specialty prescriptions for their chronic condition. These patients rely on the role of patient support services to treat them with caring, accountability, and empathy so they can receive their medication through delivery without interruption.
  • Deliver on set KPI by retaining patients and to refill Rx maintain patient compliance and satisfaction.
  • Professionally represent Vezeeta using excellent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with clients and caregivers.
  • Navigate and perform activities on the pharmacy system or other program tools to ensure effective and efficient execution of the disease management program
  • Update and maintain appropriate files in a timely manner to ensure the accuracy of the program.
  • Log all client and caregiver interactions and accurately create and maintain action notes in an interaction tracking database.
  • Adhere to regulations of a health information custodian with respect to personal health information in connection with vezeeta clients.
  • Achieve and maintain to a performance standard, including but not limited to; average handle times, call quality, customer satisfaction in accordance with departmental direction and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Adhere to shift schedules and maintain acceptable attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Vezeeta

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Medicine
  • 3+ years’ experience in sales or retail pharmacies
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Intermediate computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and time-critical environment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Discretion in handling confidential matters
  • Ability to employ professionalism, patience, and self-control in handling upset customers
  • Ability to work in a team environment is critical
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • Previous experience in such the required therapy area is preferred
