Job Description
- Review Contract Specifications and drawings identify product criteria and prepare required checklist for inspection and testing
- Monitor work in progress for compliance with specification and design / shop drawings; report any non-compliance using standard procedures to quality manager for necessary actions. Aim for defect / non-compliance free product
- Review methods of statements,ITP, Safety plan and quality plan of contractors as initial approval.
- Coordinate Inspection and test activities in accordance with relevant inspection test plan
- Monitor status of inspection and follow up on actions for resubmission, ensuring all required actions are completed prior to re-submission
- Receiving testing reports of concrete and coordination with test laboratory for sampling.
- Monitor and the quality of concrete received and report to quality manager and construction manager any deviations from specified requirement.
- Perform materials receiving inspection / test to verify compliance with the requirements of Specification and / or approved submittal. Report non-compliance via the use of receiving inspection report
- Monitor and check revision status of drawings used on site by construction team including subcontractors, to ensure that no superseded drawings are at point of use
- Monitor storage area and take necessary action to prevent damage. Report un-acceptable practices to quality manager
- Maintain quality records specified by relevant inspection test plans and contract documents
- Ensure all original copies of records are handed over to document & data controller
Job Requirements
- Min (7) years’ experience in construction projects especially quality section.
- Previous experience in residential projects.
- Proficiency in dealing with :
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft office
- Standards,specifications and codes (locals and nationals codes)
- ISO 9001 requirements
- HSE standards and requirements.
