Job Description
- Maintain good working relationships with existing customers and providing them with technical, sales and marketing support
- Develop good working relationships with various departments within the designated account companies (management, sales, marketing, operations/procurement, research and technical services)
- Conduct product information
- Utilize the Integrity Selling process
- Contact potential customers and sources of new business and developing plans to capture new business
- Maintain a database of current customers and prospects in the company specified program
- Complete quarterly reviews of customer business plans and submission of monthly expense reports according to established procedures
- Remain alert to competitor activities and products; collects samples, labels etc. and forwards to supervisor for comparisons
- Lead all field/ customer-based product demonstrations and data collection for use in marketing communications collateral
- Implement local sales strategy
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related agricultural discipline preferred
- 7- 10 years of sales/ marketing experience in positions of increasing responsibility required
- Strong background in new business development with demonstrated results
- Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and computer/presentation skills required
- Ability to travel.
