Job Description
- Develop, design and test BI Reports and Dashboards based on user requirements
- Work with the customer to gather specifications for data and report requirements.
- Effectively translate end user reporting requirements into functional design documents.
- Development of operational reports and dashboards with focus on business data insights.
- Maintain and support Qlikview environment
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2005 - 2016)
- Qlikview is a must
- [Low – mid] In depth knowledge of Informatica 9.x/10.x Power Center, Data Stage, of Informatica Power Center, UNIX, SQL and Data warehousing.
- Strong understanding of ETL, data structures and data flow.
- Proven experience with developing, architecting and deploying data warehouse solutions
- Solid understanding of data warehouse development standards and best practices
- Extensive experience working with various data sources (SQL and Oracle database, flat files (csv, delimited), Web API, XML
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI is plus.
- Advanced T-SQL skills required. Solid understanding of relational databases and business data; ability to write complex SQL queries against variety of data sources (OLTP, Data Warehouse)
- Exposure to Azure cloud services (Azure SQL Server and Azure Database)
- Ensure that Data Warehouse and Database standards, guidelines and processes are followed
- Work with business users to understand data integration related problems and provide solutions
- Communicate project status with management
- Communicating clearly and concisely to individuals from various backgrounds
- Ability to influence others through verbal and written communication
- Ability to learn new technology and quickly adapt to technology changes
- B.Sc. in Computer science.
- Excellent command of English is a must.
- Communication/Presentation skills. Adaptive, problem solving and analytical skills. Understanding of business process- can bring best practice or options to team.
