Job Description
- To supervise the activities of students on campus and in surrounding areas.
- Teach compliance with school rules and regulations.
- Assist in attendance procedures and perform related work involving the protection of persons and property, crowd control, investigations and provide office support as required
- Establish rapport with students to encourage proper behavior and cooperation.
- Patrol and supervise assigned school campus areas, including hallways, restrooms, and seating areas to enforce school rules with regard to safety and student behavior.
- Respond to minor complaints and rule infractions; report serious violations of school rules to school administrators; report suspicious or unauthorized activities to school administrators.
- Enforce playground rules and regulations during arrival and be particularly mindful of the safety and welfare of the students during dismissal.
- Manage student movement to morning lines before school and bus movements after school.
- Question students who are out of class to determine the nature of their activities.
- Ensure students are in their designated activity locations and with their facilitators during after-class activity.
- Monitor potential trouble areas.
- Call for assistance during a medical emergency and assist in the administration of First Aid for ill and /or injured children.
- Provide a safe environment by actively monitoring and reporting maintenance and safety issues to supervisor
- Assist teachers and administrators in the direct supervision of students during a variety of assigned campus events and in designated areas to ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
- Monitor ISS room or other special areas required
- Perform other duties as assigned.
