Job Description
Job Objective
- Responsible for all Fleet Sales activities to be executed properly according to the Company’s policies.
Tasks
- Interviews and selects capable salesmen.
- Maintains an adequate sales force.
- Trains salesmen in the sale of cars, policies, procedures of the Company, following appropriate sales methods and techniques.
- Plans and holds regularly scheduled sales meetings.
- Review salesmen’s work and counsels, advises, assists, and directs the salesmen in their activities
- Maintains an awareness of local market competition conditions, of user preferences and desires, of industry trends, and transmits such information promptly, with recommendations, to senior management.
- Initiates ordering of cars from supplier.
- Must establish an image in marketing and must ensure that sales team members consistently live up to that image with distinctive, proactive customer responsiveness.
- Periodically analyzes, jointly with the salesmen, sales objectives for both present and prospective customers, sales and service activity, demands, and programs for effective sales coverage.
- Aids the salesmen in arranging for, planning, and conducting instructive and stimulating meetings, as required, with customer personnel.
- Maintains and reviews records and reports of calls on customers and sales results obtained.
- Prepares quarterly sales forecasts to be used in the preparation of schedule of purchases from suppliers.
- Handles correspondence with present and prospective customers.
- Attends such conventions and trade meetings as may be designated by management.
- Assists in debt collection from customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree.
- Five years of sales management experience in the car sales business.
- Should be fluent in English.
- To be a key person in the Fleet Sales department.
- To have interest in and enthusiasm about automobiles.
- Familiar with the phases of the vehicles purchasing process.
- Must be detail-oriented, charting individual sales, establishing individual sales goals and bonus plans, and constantly monitoring fleet sales against the business
- Ability to organize, manage or grow a business
- Functions effectively without assistance or directions
- Superior communication and customer service skills
