Job Description
- Use Agile engineering practices and various technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions to enhance bank customer and employee experience
- Build out integration solutions as required by the bank’s Digital project while adhering to the bank’s Integration standards and best practices
- Develop new feeds and managed file transfer configurations between the bank’s systems as well as enhancements to existing deployments
- Identify and communicate issues/risks to the relevant tech leads/product owners
- Comply with standard bank processes and procedures including change control, configuration management and logical access control
Job Requirements
- Deep knowledge of development using Server Side Java and J2EE
- Experience building applications with Spring
- Good understanding of the system development life cycle, including change and configuration management
- Track record of successful delivery of technical components of integration platforms and transformation projects
- Strong development background on Java platform (min. 5 years on at least 7 successful projects); experience on Java 7+
- Experience with development on & support of JEE Application Servers (e.g., Glassfish, Weblogic, WebSphere App Server)
- Experience in messaging technologies and products including JMS and WebSphere MQ
- Experience of relational database development using SQL and JDBC
- Experience of Scripting and build tools including Shell Scripting, Apache Ant and Apache Maven
- Strong background in XML including DOM, SAX, XPath and Schemas
- Knowledge of non-functional considerations (scalability, availability, reliability, manageability) for complex, distributed environments
- Experience of working with version control systems, e.g. Subversion
- Working knowledge of file transfer protocols and configuration, e.g. SFTP, FTP
