Job Description
Objective of the POSITION: -
- Responsible for managing the DM high value Purchases and implement the Req. To Check (Receive the request to check / ensure the suppliers payment).
- DM Purchases: - All Raw and Pack inside the BOM.
Duties & Responsibilities:-
- Achieve the company targets in terms of Cost saving (PPV), Payment facilities and Ext……..
- Ensure implementation of the company / purchasing policies (Purchasing policy / Procedure, Code of Conducts, conflict of interest, Separation of duties and Extr…..) within the DM team.
- Set the DM purchasing strategy for the managed commodities.
- Set the sourcing strategy for the assigned commodities.
- Prepare the DM annual Budget actions for the assigned commodities in contribution to the Procurement Budget.
- Plan and execute actions to achieve, secure and exceed the budgeted savings.
- Identify additional backup actions to recover deviation vs budget.
- Analyze the market for potential new suppliers.
- Control the RFQs (Request for quotations) to suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, terms and conditions with Suppliers
- Prepare and manage the OGSM & 12 Months Cost saving Activity Plan.
- Prepare the FBS and vendor selection criteria.
- Prepare the sourcing board meeting for supplier selection.
- Develop and maintain a strong and reliable suppliers’ base.
- Support Procurement Department Managers in his\her tasks and objectives
- Ensure an up to date administration of documentation, databases and required reporting
- Provide the organization information to\from suppliers
- Day-to-day liaising and support of planning and other functions in relation to their respective tasks
- Lead, manage or contribute to assigned projects.
- Monitor RM trends (LME & Price indicees) & Reports compiled by 3rd
Job Requirements
- Candidate Qualifications: (Desired Education, Experience, Specific Skills & Competencies required)
- Qualifications: B.Sc. of mechanical engineering, commercial, or economic studies.
- Experience: : 7~10 years’ experience (At least 3 years as a DM purchasing manager)
- Skills: Excellent English language skills Excellent Computer literature
