The Mission :
The Logistics Assistant is responsible for the provision of support in all logistics activities related to the Riyadh Metro Project (RMP) according to Siemens guidelines to meet Customer / contract requirements. The Logistics Assistant will perform functions related, but not limited, to “Shipment Coordination,” “Asset Management,” and “Records Management.”
What are my responsibilities ?
COORDINATION :
- Ensuring efficient coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Operating effective coordination with Offshore Logistics to ensure an efficient Customs clearance process
- Operating effective coordination with Warehousing to ensure an efficient transportation process
ASSET MANAGEMENT :
- Ensuring proper recording of shipments on an Asset Management Software
- Consistent recording, monitoring, and updating of all incoming shipments
- Consistent recording, monitoring, and updating of all local deliveries
- Efficient administration of modifications and adjustments as required
RECORDS MANAGEMENT :
- Ensuring proper administration and maintenance of paper and electronic documentation
- Regular and proper updating of all assigned Logistics logs/lists
Job Requirements
What do I need to qualify for this job ?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required
- High English language proficiency required
- Past administrative experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
