Job Description

  • Executes end to end intermodal process and ensure quality output whilst meeting customer needs
  • Responsible for standardizing operations processes and preparing for/implementing processes and policies, working in close relationship with internal leaders within the company
  • Collaboration with external service providers to troubleshoot and ensure the smooth flow of cargo
  • Build strong working relationship with trucking suppliers, on-dock and off-dock terminal operators to achieve efficient operation
  • Work closely with operations team, and customer service to ensure quality service provided to customers
  • Drive cost saving in daily work and identify continuous improvement possibility
  • Provide analytical assessment of day to-day issues; as well as strategic opportunities for improvement with customer
  • Develop allocation plans to optimize constrained availability against prioritized demands
  • Drive resolution of weekly exceptions to ensure rapid decision making and timely execution
  • Provide analysis and recommendations which create cost and efficiency savings
  • Generate weekly reports demonstrating visibility to Intermodal containers and KPIs
  • Perform other job related duties as required

Job Requirements

  • Rich knowledge on Supply Chain Management and Ocean products(Local Qatar Knowledge preferred)
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Data analysis skill and procurement negotiation skill
  • Result-oriented with initiative and strong execution with efficiency;
  • 3+ years’ local experience with drayage and port activity
  • 3+ years’ experience of analytical skills combined with detailed practical business acumen
  • Understanding and passion for achieving internal and external KPIs.
  • Open and positive with strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to identify improvement opportunities and perform business and cost analysis to make recommendations
  • Ability to work independently, typically initiating own tasks without input/guidance from manager
  • Result-oriented self-starter with initiative and strong execution drive
