Senior Quality Control Manager

A leader company in the frozen vegetables industry – has an opening for a Senior Quality Control Manager to join our growing operations team. You will have an opportunity to make an impact, while working with some of the most talented people in their fields.

The Senior Quality Control Manager will be responsible for developing and overseeing the operation of the product manufacturing process and the success of the department to ensure the utmost in quality and customer satisfaction.

If you have a strong background in quality management and exceptional leadership abilities and should behave as a minimum of 3 years’ experience in frozen vegetable processing, we encourage you to apply.

As Senior Quality Control Manager you will:

• Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and in-process inspection procedures across a variety of products.
• Develop, execute and analyze quality control methods, reporting procedures, and quality standards.
• Monitor NCR (non-conformance reports) and corrective actions related to internal process review.
• Record and maintain traceability of products by customer orders.
• Maintain internal calibration records.
• Review customer purchase orders and change requests and ensure that the necessary provisions are included in quality and process plans.
• Implement corrective actions to improve compliance with quality standards.
• Report to management on quality issues, trends, and losses.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for quality control processes, materials, and testing procedures.
