Responsibilities
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews with SMEs and studies)
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Prepare well-structured drafts
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
- Submit work to editors for input and approval
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Promote content on social media
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction
- Stick to the brief and deadlines outlined by the client.
- Use the appropriate brand “voice” to connect with readers.
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Update website content as needed
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, marketing, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of professional copy-writing experience with solid portfolio of work.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Business and technical writing experience.
