Job Description

  • Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history.
  • Prepare quotation requests and send copies to vendors.
  • Prepare vendors list to compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among vendors.
  • Prepare local/foreign purchase orders and send to vendors.
  • Track the status of requisitions and orders and send a weekly report to Supply Chain Manager.
  • Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports, and price lists.
  • Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.
  • Receive, sign, and compare suppliers' bills with bids and purchase orders in order to verify accuracy.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in any convenient educational field.
  • Minimum 3-5 year of experience in the same field or related fields like Sales, Distribution, and Marketing.
  • Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures.
  • Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
  • Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles.
  • Computers- Knowledge Microsoft Applications. (mainly MS.word MS.Excel)
