Job Description

  • Communicate proficiently in writing and verbally to individuals or groups of people.

  • Design and estimate commercial construction projects and define a scope of work using proven methods.
  • Multitask and effectively problem solve. Work with teams to reach solutions to issues that may hinder project Progress.
  • Develop and write engineering-based bid specifications. Overall administration, organization, management and implementation of new construction projects.
  • Collaborate with supervisory personnel, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work schedules, complaints, and construction problems.
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
  • Apply standard practices and techniques in solving problems related to facilities operation and maintenance.
  • Maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical Equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs.
  • Perform facility inspections periodically.
  • Respond to emergencies; Interact in a collaborative manner with other team members, engineers, and clients to accomplish organizational goals; may provide ideas to improve efficiency at group level; network primarily with own technical peer group.
  • Prepare and submit periodic highlighting actions to be taken.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and requirements.
  • Other assigned tasks as required.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a related role.
  • Experience in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD and Primavera.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and writing
  • Maintain detailed and accurate reports.
  • Experience in Residential and Commercial Projects.
  • Capacity to think, concentrate and focus over long periods of time
  • Ability to read complex documents in English language
  • Capacity to reason and make sound decisions
  • Ability to write complex documents in the English language
  • Capacity to express thoughts orally (e.g., accurately, quick and loudly convey spoken instructions to workers).
