Job Description
- The Product Manager will create and manage innovative international product and business solutions, focusing on KSA and based from our Dubai offices. S/he will be responsible for managing solutions tailored to optimize selection in the region.
- Influencing and team building skills are essential for the success of this position.
- The candidate person must be a customer focused individual who can work with the local and international teams.
- This position requires strong self-motivation, the ability to read customer insights, business acumen and project management skills.
- The ideal candidate will have the ability to work closely with teams across different geographies to develop & deliver solutions on complex problems.
- The ideal candidate has a broad skill set including analytical horsepower, excellent business judgment, strong negotiations skills, deep curiosity about how things work, and a passion for creating a world class shopping experience for our customers.
- You will work with business teams of all sizes and must have the leadership presence and communication skills to represent Amazon Global Store at all levels.
- In this role, your key responsibilities will be:
- Define strategies & create execution plan with local, international, and global teams to drive adoption and revenue growth for the Global Store business.
- Think big and invent new ways to improve Global Store CX
- Contributing to Amazon’s bottom line
- Working with compliance partners to provide compliant solutions
- Mining and analyzing data for metrics and decision support
- Driving results by exercising judgment using available information
Job Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree; post-grad is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in product management or general management
- High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Experience in agile, lean startup product management processes.
- Superior verbal and written communications skills
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguous problems and build solutions with proper product & project management techniques
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional projects across category or other departments
- Experience using Excel and similar analytical tools to measure performance, determine improvements and innovations, and to support project requests from partner teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluency in Arabic and experience living in the Middle East highly desirable.
- Proficiency with SQL, plus the ability to learn our in-house analysis tools quickly
