Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented, effective, and experienced IT Specialist to join our growing team. In this position, you will use your expertise to monitor, and maintain our IT systems.
- You will focus on specific computer network and systems administration. Under supervision, you will install, configure, service, repair and maintain information technology systems in both a stand-alone and client-server environment.
- You will also participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the organization and ensure that system hardware, operating systems, and software systems are fully operational.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands.
- Administer network and data security, including directory, group policy, firewalls, anti-virus, email security, etc.
- Manage daily operations of the IT department.
- Install and configure wireless networking equipment.
- Create, analyze, report, convert, or transfer data, using specialized applications program software.
- Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance work-flow and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide for the implementation, configuration, deployment and support of systems, including, but not limited to client computing devices and servers
- Coordinate the needs of in-house requirements with remote employees, vendors and contractors.
- Protect customer data from outside infiltration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary means.
- Assist with the installation of new hardware and software and help train employees on its use.
- Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes within the IT department.
Job Requirements
- Age less than 27 years old.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
- Excellent IT, communication, leadership and management skills.
- Ability to fill multiple roles simultaneously.
- 0-1 years experience in information technology.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple problems simultaneously.
- Knowledge of hardware technology and concepts.
- CCNA R&S and MCSE certificates will be advantage.
- Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment.
- MS Office – Network Fundamentals – MS Windows Servers 2016 or later versions and clients (MS Windows 10 and later versions) – Active Directory- surveillance systems (DVR – Cameras – Access Doors)
- Preferred MS SQL knowledge.
- Preferred VoIP knowledge.
