Job Description

  • Core R&R: Development and P&L ownership of MEA MBG online sales channel, including strategy and related operational activities.
  • Perform Online Strategic Planning: Drive Business Management strategy development and planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans within existing markets
  • Grow own e-commerce Business: P&L responsibility for MEA MBG own ecommerce business, whether based on Moto or Lenovo platforms; develop, prioritize and realize online opportunities, along with online product & brand proposition awareness. Coordinate cross country development of online sales strategies, operations, promotional programs and ensure their execution i.e.: KPIs, pricing, T&Cs, infrastructure setups, cost reductions
  • Develop Key Regional etailer business: Regional account responsibility for major etailers. Regional strategy, targets, alignment of pricing and T&Cs, key common initiatives and potential efficiencies; Strengthen partnership and relationship engagement with etailers regional leadership and cross collaboration with country leads and local etailers’s representative; co- sharing of related country/account P&L targets and results, and ownership of related regional consolidated P&L targets and results
  • Provide Online expertise: provide online insights and knowledge to improve the countries’ online performance, in particular in the areas of competitive offerings, positioning, promotions, online marketing and CRM, to drive increased traffic and conversion; prospect local needs and generate development ideas.
  • Measure Performance: Develop key performance indicators and deliver performance based on these indicators. Communicate performance to key internal stakeholders and clients where appropriate. Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company's ambitious growth ensuring maximum revenue at minimum cost through effective negotiation.

Job Requirements

  • Proven track record of strong, professional online business experience, preferably in running e-commerce business
  • Experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions
  • Highly developed leadership skills and commercial acumen
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of quality and accuracy coupled with a desire to do things compliantly, but creatively, in order to optimize customer and partners satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated passion for the web, technology, startups, etc..
  • Financial and commercial acumen demonstrated by experience of major budget / P&L responsibility
  • Strong client relationship, team leadership and delivery skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of an organization
  • Strong account management discipline, processes and structure/staffing, to enable and encourage continued growth
  • Service orientation: having experience in service, delivery and customer focus in an organization that gets things done, through matrix resources; Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated successes in project delivery
  • Passion, drive, confidence and commitment
  • Finally, this is a Senior role in a Matrix Global company, the successful individual must have the relevant experience and skills to operate in such a complex environment.

Measure of Success:

  • Key online business metrics – net sales, PCON, service levels, market share (online and in market)
  • Traffic and conversion rates
  • Target market share for direct to consumer and online partner sales by category
  • Etailers Vendor status/evaluations
  • Recognized e-expert by internal & external partners
