Job Description
Taxation:
- Prepare tax payments
- Estimate and track tax returns
- Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
- Organize and update the company’s tax database
- Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
- Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
- Share financial data with the accounting department
- Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits
- Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Forecast tax predictions to senior managers
General Ledger:
- Preparation, review and posting of monthly journal entries to the general ledger.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage procurement operations for finance organization.
- Invoice review, payments, vendor management, and assistance with prepaid and accrued expenses
- Assist with monthly close process including financial analysis and financial reporting
- Support annual audits and tax return working in concert with external auditors
- Other duties as required
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance.
- From 7 to 10 years of experience. Previous experience in GL & Taxation is required.
- Very Good in English, Excel & ERP.
- Post graduated CMA, MBA or ESAA is preferred.
