Perform tissue culture and micropropagation methodologies for large scale production
Prepare media following established recipes and protocols
Have good knowledge with autoclaves, centrifuge, incubator, laminar flow hood, analytical balances, surgical tools.
Help execute cultivation methods for efficient micropropagation
Work with the production manager to troubleshoot problems in the micro-propagation stages and develop effective solutions.
Maintain detailed and organized records of project data and other materials as needed, maintain inventory records, and regulatory compliance.
Assure complete sterilization of all equipment, material cleanliness of glassware, plasticware, and other supplies as needed.
Follow up on maintenance of equipment and glassware and creation of culture media stock for production.
Operate laboratory equipment in a safe controlled environment and sterilized manner.

BSc in Biotechnology, Plant Science, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Practical and theoretical experience in aseptic technique, plant tissue culture, Organogenesis and Somatic Embryogenesis micro-propagation techniques.
Experience working in a commercial biotechnology laboratory preferred; previous experience in Date Palm and Potatoes is preferred.
Proficiency with common Windows computer programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook mail
Excellent written and oral communication skills including ability to train and work with operational staff in the greenhouse.
Fresh grads or mid-career.
