Job Description

    Middle East Worldwide Sales Office

    • The Account Director, will be responsible for sales, account management and strategy for a base of primary accounts (A and B) in the Middle East Worldwide Sales Office. Furthermore the position will take an active lead in Business Development (C and P accounts) for the office.

    Key Activities:

    • Strategic account management for all assigned clients with the goal to increase penetration and revenue
    • Account development with the objective to uncover incremental revenue streams for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts
    • Organisation and implementation of familiarisation visits escorting clients to new destinations throughout the year, and planning and executing sales events as directed

    • Strong organizational skills in order to successfully manage the conflicting priorities in a Worldwide Sales Office
    • Strong, well-developed customer relationship skills
    • Highly developed problem solving skills with the ability to think outside of established norms
    • Self-motivated, yet an enthusiastic team player
    • Perseverance with the ability to navigate the political and hierarchical structure of an account, its rules and regulations
    • Leadership Skills - ability to direct and collaborate with on property sales managers and other sales and marketing disciplines
    • Business Development – needs to be resilient with the ability to influence strategic change and implement a clear segment penetration strategy
    • Effective and compelling communicator with strong presentation skills
    • Creative approach to account management and client interactions

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • A proven track-record in group sales - consistently meeting or exceeding established revenue and activity goals
    • Solid understanding and experience of the assigned market
    • 3+ years of sales experience (WSO or Hotel)
    • Advanced skills with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel) and social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
    • Experience in event management and ROI calculations required
    • Language skills: English, Arabic (other languages are a plus)
