Job Description
Responsibilities
- The Project Manager (PM) shall be responsible for the preparation and issuance of the project specific version of this procedure.
- The PM shall also be responsible for ensuring that the Procedure is kept current and relevant to the Project.
- The Project Functional Managers shall be responsible for monitoring project activities to ensure compliance with the Goals and Objectives as well as the Project Scope and Contractual basis.
Instructions
Appropriate instructions shall be included/amplified in the project specific procedures. However, primary Bechtel objectives for the projects it executes, are as follows. These shall be amended per contractual requirements, as necessary, and included in the project specific procedure:
- Completion of the Project Facilities on schedule.
- Lowest (within budget) Total Installed Cost, consistent with high quality and lowest operating costs.
- Production of products that meet applicable local, national and/or international standards.
- A flexible design/layout of the Project Site and Facilities, to facilitate future expansions.
- Completely integrated, highly reliable, energy efficient facilities utilizing fit for purpose technology, automation and information systems, consistent with contractual requirements.
- Facilities with the capability to adjust product mix in order to respond effectively to changing market conditions.
- Facilities which employ commercially available proven technology and equipment per contractual requirements.
- Facilities which conform to prevailing statutory requirements and other applicable Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Facilities which meet specified performance parameters and guarantees in accordance with the Bechtel/Client Agreement, and as given by Process Licensors, Vendors and Construction Contractors.
