Job Description

Main Job Duties:

  • Utilize your existing contacts as well as bring on new customer who will purchase vehicles, spare parts, etc from within the group.
  • Achieve agreed volume and profit targets by model.
  • Control discount matrix to ensure profit targets is achieved.
  • Manage the Sales process within the dealership to ensure cars, spare parts, etc are delivered on time and all documentation is correct.
  • Develop strategic direction for Fleet department by working closely with the Retail Sales team to develop a strategy for Fleet and Business Sales.
  • Liaise with the Retail Sales team to develop a plan, which will increase the penetration in the fleet market place – among key contract hire and leasing companies, local business and larger fleets.
  • Is responsible for Fleet Marketing Delivery by develop a prospecting process to enable the maximization of performance within the fleet opportunity.
  • Establish excellent relationships with Leasing Companies, and Local Business as well as the SEAT UK Operations and Business Sales teams.
  • Develop a marketing plan to ensure that the fleet message is communicated regularly and consistently to the target audience.
  • Work closely with the organization’s Fleet team to identify opportunities to increase awareness of the Fife SEAT fleet offering.
  • Develop ways to promote unique brand imagery using unconventional methods e.g. viral marketing, events and electronic direct mail.
  • Develop and maintain a database of key fleet companies (customers and prospects) for use by the sales team.
  • Ensure regular contact via database to ensure customer experience is good and Service exceeding customer expectations

Job Requirements

  • The successful candidate will be no ordinary salesperson.
  • They will have good communication skills and be both creative in approach and numerate.
  • A high degree of enthusiasm is required along with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • You will be expected to have a track record in business selling and be committed to ensuring that our customers receive excellent service.
  • Motor Trade experience is essential.
