Application Support Manager

Main Purpose:

• Direct & Manage the Applications Support team to sustain the business operations across all the company’s sector via its business applications, while oversee and direct the IT Technical projects for the SAP-ERP Landscape to cope with business scalability and business continuity.
• Full responsibility on maintaining the availability and support of all the business critical funcations that affect the whole organization business systems availability

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the company’s Business Applications SAP-ERP reliability, scalability, security and performance to provide smooth and secure business operations.
• Forecasting HW requirements to IT infrastructure team to make sure all business applications are functioning properly.
• Ensure the deployment of new systems and changes on the Production Environment. And design of a rollback plan in case of failure.
• Responsible to design the procedures to successfully restore a failed service as swiftly as possible in order to minimize the impact on business operations.
• Ensure the information security across the company business applications in order to protect sensitive and confidential data to prevent unauthorized access and data vulnerability.
• Responsible for the preparation of IT Budget related to business applications and control the spending in contribution with the CIO.
• Monitor and control applications’ licenses issuing and retention.
• Full responsibility on the Support budget planning and spending control as well as Support contract negotiations with vendors to ensure value delivery to the company.
• Member of the IT change management committee responsible for identifying and managing change management impacts across people, process and technology.
